What a surprise don't you think? That's right, we are trying to initiate having
a newsletter for our members to inform you of the events and activities of the HCSR Club.
The reminder postcards definitely worked to remind you of the meetings, but this way
we can let you know of the up coming events and plans of the HCSRer's plus the minutes
of the previous meeting if you weren't there. So here it is. If you have any desire to
assist in the production of this newsletter or have any additional articles to add,
please let me know.
The minutes of the Feb. meeting held at Dirty Martins on Feb 7, 2008
It was discussed to hold a Cruise to Wimberley as our first outing of the year and
then have lunch at the Salt Lick in Driftwood. Afterwards we would cruise to the Bowen's
for Ice Cream, on Feb. 16th.
Austin Car Show in January was discussed and Ralph Saucedo, Robert Morris and
Dan Bowen showed their cars. All three won prizes.
A notebook will be passed around for members attending the meetings to sign-in.
A record of members attending meetings and monthly activities will be kept. These
active members will be rewarded at the end of the year.
Don Sevall wants all members to bring pictures of their cars to him. Either
hardcopy or sent via E Mail. He has a plan to use these. Beside we need to update
our website.
NOSTALGA DRAGS Show & Go 2008 is scheduled for May 3rd. A design has been chosen
& flyers & awards will be made. Sponsors are needed so EVERYONE needs to help recruit
sponsors. $100 per sponsor will get name on event shirt, 2 free shirts & 2 free
admissions. Admission to event to be $10 for spectators, kids under12 free.
Car show will be $25 & includes one free t-shirt. It was decided to advertise a $1
off per coupon from newspaper ad or flyer.

The meeting was called to order by Pres. Don Sevall. There were 12 members
present one guest. 3 Rods were driven to the meeting. Ralph Saucedo won the $10 prize
for driving his old truck and Dan Bowen won the $5 prize for wearing the club shirt.
